“This revised and expanded Field Guide is an amazing amount of work related to pinpoint locations, descriptions of birds, status, tips for easy IDs and all pertaining informations that lead to a quick knowledge about the subject in reference. Besides a graphic map indicating locations where species are commonly found.
The plethora of illustrations ( Over 2600) is quite impressive work, each bird illustration denotes the most identifiable characteristics making the ID a snap! The guide has 512 pages full of valuable information to birders pros, amateurs or any person with an interest for birds. I should mention that this guide covers the locations in this zone of Africa which are rich in avian species and somehow more incipient in the studies of the birds population. I believe this guide would definitely help any birder visiting the Horn of Africa!”
