  1. I enjoyed your tribute to the beautiful house finch today, HJ. Of all the birds in this country, this one is the one that most people ask me about. They say, “I saw a beautiful bird today, he had a red head. What was that?”

    • Exactly! I heard some calling them “the other red bird, not the cardinal” It’s like when somebody knows you come from another State e.g.: “So you are from New Jersey I have a friend that lives there…do you know Barbara?..er, I don’t have her last name” Thank you Jet! 🙂
